Protect your business against legal problems with well-written contracts. Many construction or remodeling companies are too small to hire full-time legal staff, so it's important to understand basic contract law. This course provides a step-by-step explanation of how contracts sustain positive customer and supplier relations, provide for resolution of disputes and minimize the risk of litigation. You will learn about mandatory and optional provisions, warranties and arbitration procedures, with emphasis on troubleshooting contracts for detrimental provisions. Register Now | Share the Flyer Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist
The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry home modifications for aging in place. In a three-course program, CAPS teaches the strategies and techniques for marketing, designing and building aesthetically enriching, barrier-free living environments. Going beyond universal design. CAPS also addresses the communication and technical needs of the older adult market. The CAPS designation program adds value to that knowledge by providing insights into marketing and working with this demographic group. You must attend all 24 hours of class to receive your certificate. You will need to register for each class individually.
