GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – The City of Greenwood released a listing of $21.3 million in money and roadway building jobs with this year.

“We have a town this is certainly healthier and growing, so we must work proactively to keep that trajectory, ” stated Myers. “We must handle our resources to purchase areas of need that matter many to Greenwood households and organizations.”

The jobs include:

• Public Protection
• Four brand new police patrol automobiles
• Replacement of Fire division Rescue 91 vehicle
• Replacement of Fire Department motor 93 car
• Crisis car preemption technology installed in 37 traffic indicators
  Infrastructure
• Conversion of four-way stop to traffic sign at principal Street and Graham Road
• Fry path and SR 135 intersection improvements
• Sewer relining, extensions and replacements
• Financial Development
• Taxiway rehab at Greenwood Municipal Airport
• Drainage and stormwater infrastructure improvements at Greenwood Municipal Airport
• Purchase of downtown Greenwood center School residential property for future development
• Façade improvements for downtown revitalization (principal Street and Madison Street)
• Greenwood Community Center renovation (very first period); facility to reopen in December 2016
• Freedom Springs Aquatic Park gear and improvements
• New multi-use path construction and contacts
• New playing field equipment at City Center Park

There aren't any road closures in the offing of these tasks, but there may be lane limitations on occasion.
